Web policies have been approved by the Internet/Website Advisory Committee and apply to all websites that represent the University of South Alabama or any of its associated organizations.

Dynamic Templates

Dynamic website templates are developed for the USA Content Management System.

Templates allow our users to simply create and maintain their web pages in an easy to use UI environment.

Multimedia (Assets)

Assets are server-side include content that are mostly utilized to accommodate dynamic scripts including multimedia web features.

Photo galleries, slideshows, video features, audio content, custom interactive maps and much more.

Snippets include static and dynamic content features that can be easily inserted and maintained using the WYSIWYG editor.

A Webmaster will maintain a USA Unit's (see USA Web Policies for definitions) information on the USA Web Server, serve as liaison to the University Webmaster and serve as a contact point for the USA and Internet community.

Webmaster Forms

After you request your site, obtain a Webmaster account for the individual responsible for developing and maintaining site content.

The webmaster request must be approved by the department chair or dean.

Content Management

In transitioning to the content management system and the revised USA home page design, an underlying goal for the University’s website was to create a more uniform, professional look for all pages.
